I’m an up and coming Los Angeles based comedian who was born and raised in San Francisco, CA.
After spending most of my life pursuing a career in law, I realized one day that I was more attracted to the oratory nature of “Ladies and Gentlemen of the Jury…” than I was to actually being a lawyer. Tough spot to be in.
Here’s the thing: comedy has allowed me to do what I’ve always been meant to do — bring people together and help them deal with life’s issues. In comedy, I fulfill this vocation while being completely unfiltered and 100% raw and authentic - something I could never do in law.
I’m continuously inspired by the Bay Area’s tradition of story telling. It’s in my DNA. My standup reflects that, being mainly anecdotal like that of my heroes: Richard Pryor, Dave Chapelle, Tom Segura, Tom Rhodes, George Carlin, John Mulaney, Sam Morril, Andrew Schulz, and Theo Vaughn.
I focus not just on the gross, disturbing, awkward, painful, and shameful moments of my life, but also how I navigated them. If fucking up was in the Olympics, I’d win all the medals, and then be immediately disqualified for, you guessed it, fucking up.
I wear my heart on my sleeve, and my eagerness to examine my life and my journey to where I’m at now, combined with my ability and openness to express that to others is what people love to watch because it makes them feel better about themselves and their place in the world. While I haven’t experienced everything my young life has had to offer, I’ve gotten pretty god damn close, and it’s all fair game. Come see for yourself.
